Do I need this to run E85 with Impact ECU?

No this is not needed to run E85 with Impact ECU, however, it gives you to ability to switch between E85 and Gasoline seamlessly, by allowing Impact ECU to compensate for varying levels of Ethanol content in your bike's fuel tank without the need to change tunes every time you want to run different fuels.

Get the added power & cooling benefits of E85 without having to worry about having a laptop handy when you want to switch back to gasoline. 

NOTE:  E85, typically uses about 30% more fuel than gasoline based fuels, for this reason we recommend an injector upgrade. 7.7 grams/second injectors for most E85 N/A builds.  

IMPORTANT: A slight tune adjustment may be needed to essentially let the ECU know how to behave on E85. Then the ECU will use the sensor  to detect ethanol content % and use that percentage data to adjust timing, fuel & boost accordingly to the parameters you have set.
